MAKS 2019: Iran unveils Mobin UAV

Iran has introduced one of the latest models of its home-made UAV during MAKS 2019. Firstly described by error as a cruise missile on their inforamation sheet, the Mobin is actually a multipurpose ground-launched UAV.

MAKS 2019: Avic displays Wing Loong MALE UAVs

Having taken part in the biennial Russian air show for many years, China is the country partner for the event this year. It is the first time the Russian air show has invited a foreign nation to be a country partner. Avic company displayed, amongst other products, the Wing Loong family on the static display.

In the Chinese pavillion of MAKS 2019, Ziyan, a chinese UAV manufactuer, showcased the Blowfish A3. A mini VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) which military version is under deployment within Emirate forces.

The military version of the Mi-38 helicopter, the Mi-38T, was showcased during MAKS 2019. It also participated in the aerial demonstrations.

MAKS 2019: Almaz-Antey agrees with Belarus to overhaul S-300 missiles

Almaz-Antey Concern signed a contract with the Belarussian Defense Ministry at MAKS airshow on the overhaul of S-300 missiles and maintenance of Tor-M2K, the company said.

MAKS 2019: Russian Helicopters presents a convertible Mi-171 A2 helicopter

Russian Helicopters Holding Company (part of Rostec State Corporation) presented a convertible Mi-171A2 helicopter at the MAKS-2019 airspace show. Depending on the customer wishes, the helicopter can be used for cargo transportation, as well as to transport up to 20 passengers. This is the first certified rotorcraft of the Mi-8/171 family in a convertible version.

MAKS 2019: First public appearance of the Ka-62 helicopter

Russian Helicopters Holding Company (part of Rostec State Corporation) presented a prototype of its latest Ka-62 multi-purpose helicopter for the first time at the international aerospace show MAKS-2019. MAKS 2019: Zala Aero develops world’s first artificial intelligence identification system

Zala Aero, a Russian developer of unmanned aerial vehicles, which is affiliated with the Kalashnikov Group of the Russian State Corporation Rostec, has developed the world’s first artificial intelligence visual identification system (AIVI), a Zala Aero representative told TASS at the 14th International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2019. The air show is taking place in the town of Zhukovsky near Moscow from August 27 to September 1.

Russian Helicopters Holding Company (part of Rostec State Corporation) presented the Ansat helicopter with a highly comfortable cabin in Aurus brand style for the first time at the MAKS 2019 International aviation and space salon. The cabin has been designed by specialists of Russian Helicopters and NAMI (Central Scientific Research Automobile and Automotive Engines Institute).

MAKS 2019: Debuts of multipurpose Korsar UAV export version

Ruselectronics Holding Company of Rostec State Corporation introduced the prototype of the export model of its Korsar UAV with a set of target payloads at the MAKS-2019 International Aviation and Space Salon. The Korsar unmanned aerial vehicle has obtained the necessary export permits and will be offered to foreign customers.

Rostec State Corporation displayed new civilian, military and specialized aircraft designs at MAKS-2019 airshow, as well as EW means, engines and airfield equipment, the corporation said.
