Iraq reportedly took delivery of another batch of Mi-35M and Mi-28NE attack helicopters
 
Another batch of Mi-35M and Mi-28NE Night Hunter attack helicopters was reportedly delivered to Iraq by An-124 Ruslan transport aircraft, a source told TASS at MAKS-2015 airshow. In accordance with the delivery schedule, Iraq took delivery of four Mi-35M and four Mi-28NE attack helicopters. The rotorcraft feature the full combat configuration and are fitted with the night vision equipment, TASS reports with reference to a military attaché.

Boeing has signed an agreement with Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI) and Alsalam Aircraft Company to create the Saudi Rotorcraft Support Center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The joint venture will have locations in Riyadh and Jeddah providing comprehensive, in-country maintenance repair and overhaul support for Saudi Arabia’s diverse rotorcraft fleet.

Bell Helicopter, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $581,113,421 contract for the manufacture and delivery of 15 Lot 12 UH-1Y, 19 Lot 12 AH-1Z, one Lot 13 UH-1Y helicopters and 21 auxiliary fuel kits for the United States Marine Corps and government of Pakistan, the US Department of Defense announced on August 25.

After four months, the detachment of Typhoon jets yesterday concluded its deployment as part of NATO's Baltic Air Policing mission. The RAF Typhoon detachment deployed to Amari air base in Estonia at NATO’s request on 1 May this year, operating alongside Norwegian aircraft to secure NATO’s airspace over the Baltic nations of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania which do not have their own air defence fighters.

Two additional EC725s were booked in 2014 for deliveries to the Royal Thai Air Force next year.

Defined in the French Defense Ministry strategic plan "Unis pour Faire Face" ("States to deal"), creation of these new air squadrons aims to bring together, at constant staffing, units and staff dedicated to the same mission in a set whose consistency will be enhanced.

The Russian Helicopters manufacturing company will unveil a full-scale model of an advanced high-speed helicopter at the opening of the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS on Tuesday. Russian Helicopters, a subsidiary of state technology corporation Rostec, said the flying lab was developed on the basis of the Mil Mi-24 (NATO reporting name Hind) attack helicopter.

BAE Systems has hit another milestone on the F-35 Lightning II programme after completing manufacture of the first Short Take-Off and Vertical Landing (STOVL) variant aft fuselage for the Italian Air Force. BL01 was completed at the Company’s Military Air & Information site at Samlesbury, Lancashire, and will now be transported to the Final Assembly and Check Out (FACO) facility at the Cameri Air Base in northern Italy, where it will be married up with the rest of the aircraft.
