Philippine Army welcomes back the return of Cessna 421B Golden Eagle


In Philippines, the Aviation “Hiraya” Regiment welcomed back the return of the Cessna 421B Golden Eagle,  09 February 2022, at its Headquarters in Fort Magsaysay.

The Cessna 421B is a twin-engine light transport aircraft that can accommodate two pilots and five passengers.This C421B aircraft has been grounded for the past 15 years. The aircraft will still undergo further test flights to check its instruments and other aircraft systems, prior to being formally turned over to the Aviation Regiment.

Once fully operational, the Cessna 421B can be used for the rapid movement of key leaders, other personnel and their equipment to different line units of the Philippines.

Recently, Philippine Navy received four Cessna 172 Skylark trainers.
