Norway asks USA for Raytheon AIM-120C-7 AMRAAM Missiles
 
The Government of Norway has requested a possible sale of 36 AIM-120C-7 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM), 8 Captive Air Training Missiles (CATMs), containers, support equipment, spare and repair parts, Common Munitions Bit/Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE), publications and technical documentation, U.S. Government and contractor logistics support services, and other related elements of logistics support. The estimated cost is $80 million.

The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces today announced that two of its air crew died when their military training aircraft crashed. In the mean time, Poland signed a contract for eight Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master jet trainer aircraft on 27 February for the country's Advanced Jet Trainer (AJT) programme.

According to Jane's and Brigadier General Tomasz Drewniak from the Polish armed forces, Poland wishes to launch a tender to procure 64 multi-role jet fighter to replace the Polish Air Forces fleet of Sukhoi Su-22M4 'Fitter-K' ground attack aircraft and Mikoyan MiG-29 'Fulcrum-A' fighter aircraft.

The remaining negociation was on the price of 42 out of a 72 Eurofighter Typhoon order.The 2007 deal to supply Saudi with 72 Eurofighters for $7.4 billion had to be renegotiated after Saudi asked for additional weaponry and equipment for the fleet.
