Belgian Company FN Herstal at MAKS 2013 with FN MWP™ and deFNder® weapon systems.
 
The Belgian Company FN Herstal will attend the MAKS International Aviation and Space Trade Show, which will take place in Zhukosvky, Moscow Region, from 27th August through to 1st September. FN Herstal will exhibit two of its products, the FN MWP™ (Medium Window Pintle) and the deFNder® Medium Remote Weapon Station. FN Herstal MWP™ (Medium Window Pintle)

     

Taking advantage of its leading position in firearms design and manufacturing, FN Herstal started to expand its product portfolio by developing and producing integrated weapon systems for installation onto or into major aircraft types.

At MAKS 2013, the FN MWP™ (Medium Window Pintle) weapon system is showed with the .50 cal FN M3M™/GAU-21 machine gun.

FN Herstal's airborne pintle weapon systems can integrate two different weapons - a 7.62x51mm NATO FN MAG®58M or a .50 cal FN M3M™ (GAU-21) machine gun - and feature three different configurations - either window-, floor- or ramp-mounted.

     
     
At MAKS 2013, the deFNder® Medium Remote Weapon Station is showed with the the .50 cal FN M3R™ machine gun.

The deFNder™ Medium is the medium weight remote weapon station of FN ROWS family. It can integrate all FN Herstal machine guns up to .50 caliber, including the exclusive M3 machine gun, and is capable of extended elevation operation angles.

The deFNder® Remote Weapon Stations provide optimized remote firing capability while keeping the operator completely under armor protection in order to meet today's operational requirements.

In addition to integrated weapon systems for air, land and sea applications, Belgium-based FN Herstal also designs, develops and manufactures a full product line for military, law enforcement and special forces operators, to include: pistols, submachine guns, assault and precision rifles, grenade launchers, machine guns, weapon mounted fire control systems, shot counters, and less lethal launchers.
