Ka-226T will patrol terrain and engage in search-and-rescue and fire-fighting operations. It can evacuate six men. The helicopter is equipped with the latest onboard devices and can be operated day and night in any weather.

"The rotorcraft is ready for operations. It passed all necessary preparations and the training of the crew and mechanics was completed. Ka-226T has been for several years supplied to government agencies and I hope the Russian Guards will continue cooperating with our company," Russian Helicopters Deputy CEO for sales Vladislav Savelyev said.

Light multirole Ka-226T has a two-rotor coaxial lifting system and a maximum takeoff weight of 3.6 tons. It can carry a one-ton payload.

The helicopter is distinguished by a modular construction. Either a transportation cabin can be easily mounted on it to accommodate six people or various modules with special equipment. Improved flight and technical characteristics of Ka-226T, its environmental friendliness and fuel efficiency, modern avionics and additional safety make it one of the best in its class.
