Under the terms of the competitively awarded contract, Sabre Ballistics will be responsible for design and installation of the system as well as training air force personnel in the use of the system.

The system is designed to automatically record pilot performance and targeting accuracy while firing cannon, rockets or on practice bombing runs. Data is collected and fed back by data link to the control center, where it can be analyzed and reported to the pilot while still airborne.

This contract win further validates Sabre Ballistics’ reputation as a recognized global expert in test and measurement systems and air targeting and range equipment. Our system supplies rapid feedback of results to the pilot ensuring maximum benefit and awareness of errors. It also minimizes the number of training sorties and flying hours, making the system very cost effective,” stated Glenn Hopkinson, General Manager, Sabre Ballistics.
