From September 27 to 29, Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF conducted) a JPN-US bilateral training specialized in tactical airlift in Hawaii.

Japan Air Self-Defense Force Staff Sgt. Ippei Fujiwara, 3rd Tactical Airlift Wing Maintenance and Supply Group Inspection Squadron airplane general, marshalls a Kawasaki C-2 during bilateral training at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Sept. 26, 2022.

The 3-day training focused on interoperability between the C-2 and C17 Globemaster III to identify best practices for future operations within the Indo-Pacific region.
