Airbus delivers first UH-72B Lakota helicopter to US Army National Guard

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. has delivered the first UH-72B, the latest variant of its Lakota helicopter, to the U.S. Army National Guard from its production facility in Columbus, Mississippi. This delivery is the first of 18 UH-72B Lakota helicopters currently on order to support the National Guard’s critical missions.

Multiple test objectives accomplished during Northern Lightning 2021 exercise

F-16s from the 85th Test and Evaluation Squadron and Operational Flight Program Combined Test Force returned to Eglin AFB August 20, 2021, after completing a successful capstone exercise in Wisconsin. India and US sign project agreement for air-launched UAV

Under the auspices of the U.S.-India Defense Technology and Trade, the U.S. Air Force has signed an agreement for joint development of Air Launched UAVs with India’s Defence Research and Development Organization. The milestone agreement is the first such technical project agreement under the DTTI for joint cooperative research and co-development activities. The DTTI, which began in in 2012, aims to utilize both countries’ top-tier capabilities, talent and resources to jointly develop defense technology as part of a growing bilateral defense partnership.

Israel Aerospace Industries to produce F-16 wings for Lockheed Martin

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has resumed the production of F-16 wings for Lockheed Martin, using the assembly line established in the 1980s. IAI recently reopened the production line following increased worldwide demand for the F-16 Block 70/72. IAI will produce F-16 wings that will be shipped to the F-16 final assembly line in Greenville, South Carolina, USA.

India has adapted the latest Astra guided air-to-air missile to Su-30MKI fighter jet, spokesman of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) Narendra Kumar Aria told TASS.
