“Su-35S aircraft have been supplied to the troops,” it said without specifying the number of supplied jets.

The Defense Ministry and MiG Corporation signed a contract at Army-2018 forum for the delivery of six MiG-35UB training and MiG-35S (serial) aircraft up to 2023. It was reported in December 2018 that MiG-35S one-seaters and MiG-35UB two-seaters were delivered to the 929th test center in Akhtubinsk.

It was reported at MAKS-2019 airshow that a new contract for several dozen MiG-35 was likely. MiG Corporation can annually produce 36 MiG-35.
