According to a contract released by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) on October 7, 2020, PKL Services Inc., Poway, California, has been awarded a $13,757,191 firm-fixed-price modification (P00008) to contract FA4897-18-C-2002 to continue providing military aircraft F-15SG maintenance and operations training.

This contract provides for the Republic of Singapore Air Force training on F15 aircraft and includes both maintenance and operations on the F15 aircraft. Work will be performed at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, and is expected to be completed Sept. 30, 2022.

The F-15SG is an advanced version of the American-made F-15E manufactured by the company Boeing. In December 2005, the Government of Singapore has signed a $1.6bn contract with Boeing for the purchase of 12 F-15SG fighter aircraft, that were delivered between early 2016 and July 2017. On 22 October 2007, Singapore's Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) exercised the option to purchase eight more F-15SG fighters as part of the original contract signed in 2005.

The F-15SG is a variant of the F-15E Strike Eagle and is similar in configuration to the F-15K sold to South Korea, but differs in the addition of the APG-63(V)3 active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar developed by Raytheon. The F-15SG is powered by two General Electric F110-GE-129 29,400 lbf (131 kN) thrust engines.

The F-15SG is a multirole fighter aircraft that can be armed with 15 different types of weapons including AIM-120 or AIM-9X air-to-air missiles to conduct air-to-air attack missions and 15,500lb laser-guided bombs or Maverick air-to-surface missiles to perform air-to-ground missions. It also carries an internal General Dynamics M-61A1 20mm Gatling gun on the right-wing.
