Rafael Advanced Defense Systems announced the completion of its acquisition of Aeronautics, one of Israel's leading developers of unmanned aerial systems.

For the first time & as a result of the acquisition, Rafael will create & develop unmanned aerial platforms. Upon closing, Rafael will hold 50% of Aeronautics, w businessman Mr. Avichai Stolero - Rafael's partner in the deal - holding the other 50%. This purchase constitutes Rafael's largest acquisition & is part of a longterm strategy to expand the company's overall operations via M&A.

For the first time & as a result of the acquisition, Rafael will create & develop unmanned aerial platforms. This step is not only expected to increase Rafael's capabilities, but also to further expand the technological & operational superiority of Israel's defense establishment.
