Rafael to develop UAVs


Rafael Advanced Defense Systems announced the completion of its acquisition of Aeronautics, one of Israel's leading developers of unmanned aerial systems.

Upon closing, Rafael will hold 50% of Aeronautics, w businessman Mr. Avichai Stolero - Rafael's partner in the deal - holding the other 50%. This purchase constitutes Rafael's largest acquisition & is part of a longterm strategy to expand the company's overall operations via M&A.

For the first time & as a result of the acquisition, Rafael will create & develop unmanned aerial platforms. This step is not only expected to increase Rafael's capabilities, but also to further expand the technological & operational superiority of Israel's defense establishment.
