"The monitoring flight over German territory is made on November 4-8, 2019 from Cologne-Bonn airfield. The maximum range is 1300 km," it said.

The Russian aircraft flies along the agreed route and German experts onboard control the compliance of equipment engagement with treaty provisions.

The flights stipulated by the treaty promote transparency in military activities and enhance security and trust.
