Raytheon and Kongsberg have signed an agreement to extend their partnership on the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS). Both CEOs of Raytheon and Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS, signed the 10-year agreement during the Paris Air Show 2015.

Cobham Aviation Services and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) have yesterday, June 17, signed a Teaming Agreement to create an affiliation covering whole life support arrangements for GA-ASI products in the UK and Australia. The teaming arrangement focuses on the provision of support for the Predator® B / MQ-9 Reaper® Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) system currently in operation with the Royal Air Force (RAF), as well as future RPA opportunities in Australia.

The aircraft features a variety of special mission applications, such as a surveillance console and a medical stretcher, as well as a variety of cabin and seating configurations, including newly designed light-weight production seats in a half club configuration and a stowable utility seat.

The aircraft will be developed in collaboration with Antonov's Saudi partner Taqni, with company representatives outlining the expected performance and roles for the aircraft.

X6 will initially target oil and gas missions and will also be perfectly suited for Search and Rescue, VIP and other applications.

Speaking at a legislative session, Chang Kuan-chun, president of the stated-owned National Chung-Shan Institute of Science & Technology (CSIST), said Taiwan's participation in the show June 15-21 is aimed at exploring opportunities to introduce locally produced key weapon modules into international supply chains.

According to sources, Pakistan is reportedly planning to display up to three JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft during Paris Air Show, which will be held from 15 to 21 June 2015. One of the aircraft is also supposed to perform flight demo. Although JF-17 Programme Management Office has confirmed its presence at the air show, no Pakistani official has so far confirmed the information.
