The Serbian Air Force has received four surplus Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 (Fulcrum) multirole combat aircraft from Belarus, according to the press department of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense (MoD).

"On February 25, the Republic of Belarus handed over four MiG-29 fighter jets to the Republic of Serbia. The official ceremony took place at the 558th Aviation Repair Plant [558 ARZ] in Baranovichi, Belarus," the MoD said in a statement.

According to Serbian Minister of Defense Alexander Vulin, the new aircraft will be overhauled and upgraded at the 558th Aviation Repair Plant.

The Serbian Air Force now operates eight MiG-29-family fighter jets and two MiG-29UB (Fulcrum) operational trainers
