ADEX 2017 opens its doors
 
ADEX Aerospace & Defense Exhibitions today opened its doors at Seoul Airport, South Korea. The show will be held in Seongnam City from 6 days from Oct. 17 to 22. ADEX 2017 marks its 11th anniversary since the first exhibition in 1996.

The purpose of the exhibition is to make companies in the aerospace and defense industry expand their export opportunities and interchange technical information with foreign companies. It is expected to be the largest-ever exhibition in Northeast Asia with 405 exhibitors from 33 countries participating.

Accordingly, the size of the indoor exhibition space, which consists of 4 halls, was expanded to accomodate 1,700 booths, an increase of 11.3% compared to 2015.

ADEX attracted SMEs in Korea to co-organize BtoB meetings with BCI Aerospace from France, It will support export consultation to small venture companies participating in "Korea Dual Use Product Exhibition 2017 (DUPEX 2017)" displaying advanced IT devices, drones, daily necessities hosted by Korea Defense MICE Institute.

Key figures of ADEX 2017 include MoD from Ecuador, Botswana and Chieff of Staff of Malaysian Army, Commander of the USAF PACAF. A total of 89 VIPs from 60 countries will participate in the exhibition.

The exhibition displays 60 types and 72 units in the aerospace and defense industry, such as the T-50 Golden Eagle and the KT-1 basic trainer.
