A second copy for Turkey should be delivered at the end of the year. MSN9 joined airbase Kayseri Erkilet located in the center of the country. Turkey has commited to buy 10 aircraft from the European Airframer Airbus Defense & Space.

MSN9 delivery was originally scheduled for September 2013 but was delayed due to a dispute between Turkey and the manufacturer. Ankara believed in fact that the device did not fully meet the technical requirements of the contract and wanted financial compensation in exchange. The aircraft made its first flight on August 9 in Sevilla, Spain.
