Australian F-35 fleet to receive Quickstep and Chemring countermeasures flares

Chemring Australia and Quickstep Holdings have secured funding for product development and cost reduction initiatives for F-35 Lightning II (Joint Strike Fighter) countermeasure flares.

French Boeing E-3F AWACS fleet to receive software upgrades

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing a $9.9 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity modification (#64) to contract (F19628-01-D-0016), supporting the French Air Force Boeing E-3F Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) fleet with 40 mission-computing software changes and 17 ground-system software changes.

General Electric awarded USD 630 million contract for F414 engines

General Electric is awarded a $630.5 million firm-fixed-priced, performance-based logistics requirements type contract for repair, replacement and program support of 773 F414 engine components used on the F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircraft.

Raytheon contracted for 250 MALD Missiles by US Air Force

Raytheon Company received a $96.1 million contract to produce 250 Miniature Air-Launched Decoys, or MALD® missiles. The U.S. Air Force award occurred just prior to Raytheon marking its 2,000th MALD system delivery, and 10th year of on-time customer deliveries.
