It is expected to conduct its maiden flight by the end of September. According to GAIC, the aircraft will participate to the 12th Zhuhai International Air Show in November.

The FTC-2000G is a variant of the FTC-2000 Shanying with improved multi-role capabilities. The model can have up to seven hardpoints and a maximum payload weight of 3,000 kg.
