Kelvin Hugues' SharpEye long range radar system

The news was revealed in a statement by the Coordinating Minister for Internal and External Security Fernando Cordero picked up by the Diarioa El Expreso. The information published includes the interest of Indra (Spain), Selex (Italy) and Thales (France) companies. Moreover, industry sources have suggested that Ecuador could also expect offers from Terma (Denmark) and Kelvin Huges (UK). In this sense, Terma offers its SMR SCANTER 5520 systems, while Kelvin Hughes proposes its SharpEye system. It has also emerged that the intention of the Italian Selex have decreased and that in principle ruled out the participation of american companies and systems.
