The delegation will proposes first, a batch of Su-35, the latest version of the Sukhoi Su-27, and then a production agreement for the T-50. Russia already has a production agreement with India which will produce a two-seater version of the PAK-FA, the HAL FGFA (Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft).

Russia hopes to benefit from the cancellation of the FX-2 bid which was set to provide 36 fighters (in the first time then a second batch would have been ordered to go up to 120 fighters). Indeed the bid validity ended last month and the 3 contenders, Dassault Rafale, Boeing F-18 E/F and Saab Gripen saw their offers dismissed.
